Stewart began his insurance career as a claims broker with Jenner Fenton Slade in 1984 before moving to the Merrett Underwriting Group in 1988 as an Assistant Underwriter. In 1992, Stewart joined A. E Grant and Others and worked closely with the deputy underwriter developing a North American and International property book of business until the syndicate’s closure in 2000.

Following a 3 year break from London with Saga Insurance Services, Stewart returned to the City and joined Endeavour Insurance Services in 2004 as a Senior Broker not only to help develop the Film and Entertainment account but to also specialise in the placement of general liability business on both open market and facilitiy placements.
