Fine Art & Jewellers Program |
The Facet Underwriting unit has recently been established by Endeavour Insurance Services Ltd to underwrite and handle fine art, personal lines and jewellers block business and will operate as its own profit centre, with Charles Williams employed as the line underwriter.
The unit is aiming to attract small to medium sized business that is fast becoming unattractive to the bigger players in the London insurance market due to the rising costs of administration and regulation.
Facet Underwriting believes that they can handle this type of business efficiently and spend a proportionate amount of time dedicated to meticulous risk management and underwriting.
Facet Underwriting believes that its target market still has an important role to play in the Lloyd's market as it helps to create a healthy spread of risk and is not as exposed to market pressures more normally associated with top end accounts.
