Endeavour Insurance Services Limited was originally established in March 1999 by Messrs. Michael Barlow, Barry Collings, David Lawrence and Jeffrey Bassett.

Following a successful management buy-out from its parent company, CBB Ltd in May 2007 where it had traded under the name of Corrie and Partners Limited, it is now an accredited Lloyd's broker in its own right.

Endeavour Insurance Services specialises in the placement of business produced by North American agents handled under binding authorities.   The production of Canadian business has put Endeavour Insurance Services in the bracket of being one of the most respected and largest producers into the London market.   Since the business began trading, Endeavour Insurance Services has reached a premium income in excess of £35 million which has been made up with a diversification of Property, Specialised Liability, Livestock, Film Production Insurance, Inland Marine, Course of Construction and Personal and Commercial Jewellery.

In August 2002 Endeavour Insurance Services established a new company - Entertainment Risk Management Limited (ERM) - as an MGA operation to handle Film related business in which Endeavour Insurance Services has a 65% interest.   ERM operate from the same office as Endeavour Insurance Services and their production is made up from UK and European agents.   Business is submitted for their approval on behalf of the London market on facilities placed by Endeavour Insurance Services.

Both Companies commenced business based on existing accounts placed in London by executives with close relationships with their overseas agents and their senior employees.   These relationships have been maintained by providing a high quality of service and by developing strong trading relationships with the London market.

We constantly review and research coverage and regional issues, which could enhance the products which our agents can offer their insureds.   Expansion has been achieved by reputation, word of mouth and attending conferences in the areas in which we transact business.

We continue to look to expand but at the same time we are conscious that the position we are in today is due to personal relationships and personal attention to our clients needs and therefore growth is naturally controlled by the ability to maintain these high standards.
